This place is fantastic! My top two requirements are good quality and service and they get 5 stars for that. 4 stars because I really wish the ambience was a little bit better and a lot cozier than the standard table and chairs. I've only ever had the Pho (a lot!) and the pork spring rolls and they are both out of this world!! It's $1 per protein so I usually get the thin rare beef and steamed tofu or chicken in the hot and spicy broth (Yum!) with rice vermicelli noodles. Their Pho portions are very generous. The "33" Vietnamese beer rocks and is a must try for sure! The service is always excellent and friendly whether dining in or getting take out. Oh and don't forget to grab some insanely good Vietnamese candy by the door on your way out. FYI,,I just found out today they are closed on Sundays now. :'( So as the girl suggested,,Just pick some up Saturday night. lol Enjoy.

We love this place. Pho is delicious. You make your own soup, you pick a soup, hot and spicy, sweet, etc., then pick one of four noodle choices, then one to twelve protein choices, I picked the chicken and shrimp in the hot and spicy soup. DELICIOUS! Service a little slow, but server was very nice and helpful with the menu. Prices reasonable for what we got. The soup was so large and plentiful, friends took half home. My wife and I love it for when she just doesn't want to cook.

Best chicken sandwich, get the spicy mayo. Pho is life changing. Great for lunch, but you might want to take a nap after.

Service was ridiculously slow. We waited 50 minutes before getting our food and this was during lunch time. Prices are high, and the food is just average. The fried rice tasted like cheap buffet rice. Very disatisfactory experience.

Service 5/5: Tiffany (Caucasian server) was very friendly and super accommodating with my party and me. The first thing I told her was about my seafood allergy and she made sure to let me know what kind of meals had fish in them and if I still wanted the meal, that she and the chef would be able to remove the fish ingredients. (Impressed!) She took very good care of us and had an optimistic personality. We liked her so much that we left her a generous tip. Food 4/5: Amazing! Started off with the papaya banana flower salad (really yummy) then the beef lemongrass. The beef was slightly overcooked for my taste but overall it was a good dish. The sauce was delicious with the rice noodles. I thought it was funny that the meal came out looking exactly like the picture in the menu (because most of the time, at other restaurants, it isn't). My party had chicken fried rice and seafood. They loved it very much. We plan on coming back. Looking forward to another wonderful experience. Cleanliness 5/5: Place was clean! Cool chopsticks! You can tell they are longer than regular chopsticks because these ones are used to eat pho. The decorations are sweet and there is a neat map of the country, Vietnam. You can tell that they take everything serious, with care, and professionalism. Boba Tea 3/5: Great selection of flavors. You can do a combo flavor too. The tapioca pearls were overcooked and soggy. Taro, mango, and coconut are very popular flavors here and almost always they are out of them. If you are in need of an uber sugar rush, Almond Blueberry combo is highly recommended.

Literally the only place in gardens you can get a banh mi, it isn't the greatest but best thing you can get to satiate the craving also overpriced and the service is the SLOWEST of all time.

Been back a couple times since my last review (because the pho is really good). The service has improved. I still think they are understaffed, but at least they are friendly. I hope they add staff before season starts...if not then they'll be back to what it was.

This place is disgusting . The meat is not meat and the thought of it is making me nauseous. Don't do it.

Absolutely dreadful! Where do I even begin?! It is scary that anyone would think this place deserves even two stars let alone three. I have never had bland Vietnamese food in my life. How can Vietnamese food be bland?! Well this place has taken blandness to another level by somehow turning Vietnamese cuisine into chef boyardee. Just imagine the worst Chinese restaurant in the worst neighborhood with the cheapest ingredients. Don't even get me started with the decor. Absolutely horrible. I would be humiliated to own a place like this. How can anyone with any self respect wake up in the morning and go to work in a train wreck of place like this?! This was a horrifying experience for me and my entire party.

This place has very good bubble tea. Haven't tried the food yet but definitely will soon.

Glad we found this little restaurant in North Palm for whenever we need a pho phix! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Everything was clean. Our food came out quickly. I had the vegetable pho since I'm vegetarian. There was a slight problem with my order but the waitress was polite and had it fixed fast. The kids got beef pho and loves it. She even offered to make them kiddie chopsticks. We also ordered the shrimp summer roll appetizer. My only complaint is that their peanut sauce is weird. It tastes like organic peanut butter. Very thick. We didn't care for it. Will be back!!

Great spot for a quick lunch. Ryan and Tiffany were friendly and helpful. Menu isn't as extensive as a Houston or new orleans spot but they have bun bo hue with pork knuckle. This makes them 1/9 Pho spots in Florida that have had it available.

It's just ok. I had a late lunch here b/c its close to home. Ended up spending $18 for thai ice tea, one summer roll for app, pho with tripe and some kind of beef that was so tough I could hardly chew it. It was a waste of 20 bucks if you ask me. They even charge extra (but don't tell you) for the soy and scallion sauce. I hate when restrauants nickle and dime you to death.

Finally I have a place in SFL for my Pho fix! (my other fave is in St. Pete) Only request would be more choices for heat. Be back soon.

What happened to this place. Two times in a row my take out was wrong. One last shot and you wont have to worry about fixing anything.

Very bland soup. The peanut sauce is not good at all. The veggies that came with my pho are not fresh. The servers are nice though although when I told the waitress the soup was bland, she just said she will tell the cook. But didnt offer to replace it with another dish or atleast not charge me. I literally didnt even touch the pho.

I love this place! Whenever I'm down I always come here to eat.. The service could use a little work but it's never been terrible for me.. Maybe a little long but not bad ..

Vietnamese Express Cafe was a very unpleasant (and sickening) experience for my husband and I. I tried to rate this review with zero stars, but unfortunately Yelp requires a minimum one star assignment. We tried this place for a "quick" lunch on Friday after having tried to go one Sunday when they opened late. The food is very expensive and lacked taste - it was awful! The Thai Tea was extremely bland for $4, the Thai spring roll was as thick as a McDonald's French Fry - oh, but they give you two... This was laughable. Couldn't taste any vegetables or pork - only the friend oil taste. The fried rice tasted like cheap Chinese take out, but at triple the price. Absolutely lacked any flavor! Finally, the broccoli stir fry was so bland yet at the same time I felt sick eating it. Something was off about it. This food cannot even compare to Pho 16, at Community and Military in WPB, and Pho 16 is about 1/3 the price. While I wouldn't say Pho 16 has the friendliest of servers, the servers at Vietnamese Express were kind and somewhat apologetic for the 1.5 hour wait until food was received. Drinks took about 20 minutes, the spring roll another 20, and food about 50 minutes after that. And while they were busy, there were plenty of servers for the 20 or so small tables they had. The restaurant was pretty gross too. We would never return and we encourage customers to try the delicious, fresh and inexpensive Vietnamese food at Pho 16! Just don't expect friendly service!

I have only had the Pho and its the best I've had between NYC, Los Angeles and this one here in Palm Beach Gardens. The service is a little slow, but the food is great.

Went there for lunch with my cousin. The food took a while but it was the best pho I've had and very generous portion. The sandwich was good too. A little pricey at about $13 for soup but tasted amazing.

I cannot tell you what the food tastes likes because I never got to eat it! We have been to the previous location, and the food was very good, but service was not great. This new location the service is worse. We sat for 40 minutes, and I know it was 40 minutes because I posted on FB when we got there, and the only thing we got was a glass of water, a diet coke, and the bubble tea. Nothing else, nada, zilch. When I got up and complained about they came out with the food. A little late I would say. They always had good food but terrible service, if they could get their act together it would be amazing experience. I've heard about another Vietnamese place, I shall try it.

I see there have been service issues but my experience has only been excellent. And the food is so spectacular that I can't stop thinking about it. I can't wait to go back yet again.

Only have ordered to-go (several times) the Pho is great! The pork rolls with fresh herbs are phenomenal and the price is spot on!

Pros: The place was clean. The beef broth was delicious. The server was attentive. Cons: Prices are a little too high for the portions. I ordered the Beef Spare Ribs rice platter. Much to my disappointment, they only gave me five small pieces of beef spare ribs. There was not a whole lot of meat. I left feeling disappointed and still a little hungry. I also ordered to take home the Pho with 1/2 Grilled Chicken Sandwich. I had it for lunch today; and again I'm very disappointed. The Pho only had "literally" five small pieces of beef and the sandwich was very small considering it's only half of a sandwich. I don't mind spending a little money on food as long as it justified. The prices are high for what they give you. I will not be coming back.

I don't remember walking out of a restaurant, much less a Vietnamese restaurant, for years. The dead giveaway signs should have been fair warning. First, metallic rock was blaring out on a Sunday afternoon. Then we had to wait for ten minutes with only three tables filled to get a menu. No Vietnamese or Asian customers were around. And no Vietnamese or Asian staff. When the spring rolls finally came, they had left out basil and mint, and the fish sauce was sugary sweet, while the hoisin sauce was diluted beyond recognition. We did not wait for the main dishes, watching what other clientele was getting. We called our waiter, paid for the appetizer and left. And it was clear from reading other comments tonight, we saved ourself from a worse experience.

It is a 'mom and pop' type restaurant that is laid back and quiet. The food here is flavorful and at a reasonable price. The new location (across the street from harbour freight) is really clean and well lit. The tea (hot or ice) is jasmine and adds to the meal. The half sandwich and soup is enjoyable (try the spicy mayo). You can also order for pick-up.
